This annual event takes place every summer for an entire weekend and features gardening exhibits, a softball tournament, a parade, a car show, refreshments and much more. There is also a beauty pageant to crown Miss Rockin' Rogers Days. This is truly a fun time for the entire family during the day, but only guests ages 21 and up are allowed at the evening events. The Rogers Activity Center is a state-of-the-art facility that hosts a number of sporting events and other gatherings for the city. The Rogers Youth Hockey Association and the Rogers Royals Boys and Girls High School hockey teams play their games here and there is also public ice skating, open hockey and much more. The activity room is also available and it includes more than 3,000 square feet of carpeted area which can hold 400 people. It's perfect to rent out for family reunions, seminars, banquets or for any other large gathering you might have. The cost is $25 per hour or $125 for a Rogers resident. Rogers is dedicated to providing a safe and active environment for its senior residents. If you are a senior citizen living in Rogers, you can get the senior monthly newsletter which tells about all the local events and activities going on that you might enjoy. The Rogers Parks and Recreation Department is an active part of the city government and it strives to provide safe and beautiful parks and facilities throughout the community. There are several parks throughout Rogers, including Fox Creek West Park, Henry Woods, Lynch Park, Brockton Meadows Park and more. Each one is unique in their own way, but most of them have green areas, playgrounds and other features so you can enjoy an entire afternoon there.
